Install the required driver software

You need to install the Wacom driver software on your computer before the pen display will work. Depending on your device and operating system, you might need to install the MCT driver software as well.

Installing the Wacom and the MCT driver software

1. Install the Wacom driver software.
1. Go to the Wacom Product Resources page.
2. Scroll down to the Just looking for drivers? section and click Download next to the latest driver that corresponds to your computer's operating system.
3. Follow the prompts to finish the driver installation.
Important: If the device display appears after you finish installing the Wacom driver software, you can start working with it. If the device display remains blank, then you need to install the MCT driver software, as described in the steps below.
2. Install the MCT driver software
1. Go to the Wacom Product Resources page.
2. In Search to find your product resources below, enter "DTU-1031AX" and then select "DTU-1031AX -- DTU-1031AX" from the drop-down list that displays.
3. In the Other Resources section, click the MCT driver - macOS or MCT driver - Windows link to download the MCT driver.
4. Follow the InstallSheild Wizard for Driver Install prompts to finish the installation.
5. The MCT icon will display in your system tray or menu bar. Click it to adjust resolution, brightness, and other display settings.
