Connect to your computer

The Wacom device driver software is pre-installed on your MobileStudio Pro. Complete the following steps to setup your device:

  1. For the first use, connect your MobileStudio Pro to a power source using the power cable and AC adapter.
  2. Slide and hold the Power switch down for 2 to 3 seconds to turn on your MobileStudio Pro.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps for configuring Windows.
  4. When operating system configuration is complete, the MobileStudio Pro Setup Wizard will walk you through configuring your ExpressKeys™, creating a Wacom ID, and setting up automatic backups of your important files.
  5. Make sure that you have wifi and Internet access. Wifi network status is displayed in the status bar at the bottom right of the Windows standard desktop, and at the bottom left of the screen when you swipe in from the right side of the screen.
  6. Wacom recommends that you click UPDATES in the Wacom Desktop Center to check for updates for the Wacom device driver and the BIOS.

To connect to a different Windows or Mac machine in Desktop Mode, complete the following steps:

  1. Make sure your computer meets the following minimum system requirements:
    • Windows 7 or later (32-bit or 64-bit configurations) or Mac OS X 10.8 or later
    • Available USB-C port or Wacom Link adaptor with Available USB-A and graphics ports.
  2. If your Windows or Mac machine has a USB-C port you can connect directly, otherwise attach the MobileStudio Pro using the optional USB-C cable and Wacom Link adaptor. Refer to the Quick Start Guide that came with your MobileStudio Pro for connection illustrations. See MobileStudio Pro features for the locations of specific features.
