Customize advanced Wacom Display Settings

Click Advanced on the Wacom Display Settings screen to customize advanced display settings such as aspect ratio, sharpness, and more.

Note: The features that display on the Advanced screen will vary, depending on the model of your pen display. All available features are described in the table below and are listed in alphabetical order.
Aspect Ratio Changes the way the screen displays the ratio of width to height. From the drop-down menu, select:
  • Full to fill the entire screen.
  • Aspect to fill as much of the screen as possible while maintaining the correct aspect ratio.
  • 1:1 to display a 1:1 screen aspect ratio.
Auto Power Down The default setting is On so that your pen display automatically powers off if you do not interact with it for over 120 minutes.
Battery ModeAvailable on certain Mobile Studio Pro models only. This setting allows you to set the maximum battery charge level. The options are:
  • Mobile: charges battery to maximum: Recommended if you regularly use your Mobile Studio Pro on battery power and require maximum battery charge.
  • Desktop: maximizes battery life span: Highly recommended if your Mobile Studio Pro is typically plugged into a power source.
Dynamic Contrast Click On if you want your screen to automatically adjust to maintain a constant contrast.
Energy Smart Click On if you want to limit the maximum brightness of your pen display to 50%.

LCD Conditioning Click Start to automatically adjust the display so that instances of color do not remain on the screen for long periods of time. This prevents image persistence.

Sharpness Move the slider to the right for a sharper display; move the slider to the left for a softer display.
Uniformity Compensation Turn On to automatically adjust different areas of the screen with respect to the center. This results in uniform brightness and color over the entire screen.
