Features of your ExpressKey Remote

The ExpressKey Remote device has 17 programmable keys that allow you to set controls, keystrokes, shortcuts, and many other functions on a Wacom device.

To begin using the ExpressKey Remote:

1. Insert the wireless receiver into your computer's USB port, or the USB port of a device connected to your computer.
2. Move the Power Slide button to the left.
   
   Note: This will also wake the ExpressKey Remote when it is in Sleep mode.
3. The ExpressKey Remote will be paired with the wireless receiver. If it is not, however, slide and hold the Power Slide button for 5 seconds. When the Status LED blinks blue, the pairing process is finished and the LED turns off automatically.

The ExpressKey Remote:

• Can be used as a handheld device, placed on your desk or work surface, or used from several feet away.
• Can be placed anywhere near a Wacom device, or on either of the magnetized areas (bezels) on the sides of the Cintiq 27 screen.
• Should be kept away from objects affected by magnetic fields, such as watches and credit cards.
• Should be used at least 1.6 inches (40 mm) away from the pen.

Using the ExpressKey Remote with more than one device

When the ExpressKey Remote wireless receiver is plugged into your computer's USB port, the ExpressKey Remote acts as a set of programmable ExpressKeys, allowing you to interact with the frontmost (active) application on your computer.

If you use your ExpressKey Remote with a Wacom device that has its own ExpressKeys, the ExpressKey Remote will act as additional ExpressKeys, and will not override the settings for ExpressKeys on the other device.
