Attach the pen to your device

Use the instructions below to attach the pen to your device using the Pen tether.

Note: If a Pen tether was not included with your Wacom device, you can optionally purchase one from the Wacom eStore.
  1. Unscrew and remove the back of the pen.

  2. Insert one end of the tether through the hole on the back of the pen and loop the tether over the catch.

  3. Thread the tether through the back piece and then screw the back piece onto the pen.

  4. Thread the tether loop through the anchor slot (1) on the back – or the top – of the device. Pull the pen through the tether loop (2) and tighten.

    Note: The location of the anchor slot (1) will differ, depending on your device's model number.
  5. Store the tethered pen in the Pen holder at the top of your device.
