Pen tip to cursor alignment
The pen-tip-to-cursor alignment feature allows you to change where the cursor displays in relation to the pen tip. By default, the cursor displays directly under your pen tip. Use the steps below if you want the cursor to display slightly away from your pen tip.
Tip: Changing the pen-tip-to-cursor alignment might be useful if your viewing angle prevents you from seeing the cursor when working with your pen on the pen display.
- Open Wacom Center.
- Select your pen display in the Devices sidebar.
- If you are working with multiple displays: click Advanced in the main content area and confirm that the same pen display you selected above is also selected in the Assigned display drop-down.
- In the Devices sidebar, select your pen, then click Advanced to open advanced pen settings.
- Click Pen tip to cursor alignment.
- Move the blue dot away from the crosshair to change where your cursor appears on your pen display in relation to your pen tip. You can move the blue dot by:
- Using the up and down arrows to set the Horizontal offset and Vertical offset.
- Dragging the blue dot away from the crosshair with your pen tip or mouse.
- Click Apply.
- With your pen display in its working position, test the newly configured alignment by using the pen in a few different areas on the pen display. Make any additional adjustments as needed.
Note: The crosshair represents your pen tip. The blue dot represents where your cursor appears on the pen display.
Tip: Click Reset to set the cursor-to-pen-tip alignment back to the default setting.
