Start your device

The Cintiq driver software is pre-installed on your Cintiq Companion. When you are ready to begin using it, complete the following steps.

1. Make sure your computer meets the following minimum system requirements:
• Windows 10 or later (64-bit configuration) or Mac OS X 10.8 or later
• Available USB port
• Available HDMI port
2. For the first use, connect your Cintiq Companion to a power source using the power cable and AC adapter. Refer to the Quick Start Guide that came with your Cintiq Companion for connection illustrations. See Cintiq Companion features for the locations of specific features.
3. Press and hold the Power button for 2 to 3 seconds to turn on your Cintiq Companion.
4. Make sure that you have wifi and Internet access. Wifi network status is displayed in the status bar at the bottom right of the Windows standard desktop, and at the bottom left of the screen when you swipe in from the right side of the screen.
5. Follow the on-screen steps for configuring Windows.
6. When operating system configuration is complete, open Wacom Center.
7. Wacom recommends that you check for updates for the Wacom driver and device firmware in Wacom Center.
